Originally from Milford, Connecticut, Trina Schyhol-Barksdale has played fife since the age of five. She quickly took up flutes and Irish whistles as well as singing. A lifelong musician, she currently teaches and performs weekly.
Trina has played Irish and Celtic music professionally in South-West Florida for over fifteen years. She has performed at resorts, events, festivals and pubs with Ceol Binn, Crossbridge, Third Man Out, The Chris Morgan Band, The Boys of County Lee and Trina & Ian.

Ian

Ian Barksdale has played Irish fiddle since a child. Born in Philadelphia, raised near Boston on the New Hampshire border, he learned his music from his Grandmother's native County Tyrone, Ireland. She would play for the family and neighbors every Friday night in her kitchen. There would be dance, songs, stories and jokes all night long, in the true Irish fashion.
Ian has called Cape Coral and Lee County, Florida, home for nearly fifteen years now. He has recorded several albums of Irish music over the years, both solo and with bands, and plays fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin and Irish whistle. He performs and teaches Irish Traditional music and song several times weekly.

Jimmy
Vocal, Guitar, Bouzouki, Irish Whistle, Bodhrán

Jimmy McEvoy was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and now lives with his family in Naples, Florida. The grandson of Irish immigrants, Jimmy first heard the Irish music he loves as his grandmother played the button accordion and sang the old songs of Galway. He learned to play the guitar as a way to satisfy his deep rooted love for Irish music. He states, "25 years ago I was listening to a friend playing the guitar and singing in a pub and decided that I too could learn to do that." Jimmy's musical resume includes touring with the world class vocalist and button accordion player Gerry Forde, as a singer and guitarist for the Naples folk/rock band Friends, Founding member of the Irish folk band West of Galway, and numerous appearances in Florida, Massachusetts, New York, and Ontario as a solo act and accompanist.
Carey
Flute, Irish Whistle, Bodhrán

Carey Parks was born in the Cleveland Ohio area and played clarinet in the school band which provided a good foundation for playing flute today. He discovered Irish music after moving to Cape Coral from Cincinnati in 2005. Carey has immersed himself in "the music", and now plays flute, bodhran and whistle. He can be found playing with various sessions and bands in southwest Florida. He is also makes and sells whistles at www.ParksWhistles.com.
